Netflix knows me better than most of my friends do

Netflix has a great system where they let you rate movies and then suggest other things you may like. Sometimes they're way off the mark, but generally, it's pretty interesting to see what they're suggesting.

Usually, on the main page it will have generic categories of things you've expressed an interest in. BBC Shows or Documentaries or the like. Lately, though, they've been getting much more ... specific in their recommendations. Like "
Suspenseful Crime TV Action & Adventure," "Inspiring Father-Son Movies based on real life" (just because I watched Bottle Shock? What?), and "Critically-acclaimed Mind-bending Independent Movies."

Today's "unique for you" recommendation at the top of the page was "Sports Night," one of my favorite programs of all time, and one I already own the box set of. I even contemplated buying the special 10th anniversary box set edition last year in addition. I still might.

The best, however, was when I signed in the other day and was greeted with the category, "Films that star Campbell Scott." Netflix has outed me. I don't know what it is, but I have a very odd attraction to the man. Even though I'm not entirely sure he can actually act, and some of his films are insane and even downright terrible, I still have a mad crush.

I didn't watch "Sports Night" often, but I liked the few episodes that I did catch.

I was trying to remember if I had seen any Campbell Scott films and then I recalled that I saw "Singles" (damn good soundtrack) and "Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle".
